Rental Terms for the Stephex 2-horse van
1. PRICES
All our prices include VAT, comprehensive insurance, and travel assistance insurance. A deductible of €1,500 applies to any damage to the vehicle (to be paid immediately upon returning the vehicle in the event of damage).
The rental deposit is €250 for half a day or a full day. For longer rental periods, the deposit is €500.
The renter is responsible for diesel fuel costs. The vehicle must be picked up and returned with a full tank of diesel. If the vehicle is not returned with a full tank of diesel, additional

The number of kilometers included per rental period is fixed. Any additional kilometers are charged at €0.30 per kilometer, including VAT.
2. RENTAL TERMS
Half a weekday, up to 4 hours, 60 km included
Weekday, between Monday and Friday, 125 km included
Weekend day, Saturday or Sunday, 125 km included
Weekend (Saturday and Sunday), 250 km included
Midweek, Monday through Friday, 500 km included

3. EQUIPMENT
All vehicles are suitable for a Class B driver's license.
4. WHAT IS NOT ALLOWED
Smoking and pets are not permitted in the vehicle. It is also prohibited to sublet the vehicle to third parties.
5. CLAUSES
Our rental terms and conditions apply only to European destinations.
In the event of force majeure or if the reserved vehicle type is unavailable, the rental company has the right to provide a similar replacement vehicle. The rental company is not required to
pay compensation if he fails to provide a replacement vehicle.
It is prohibited to use the rented vehicle to transport any form of prohibited substances, equipment, drugs, illegal persons, or goods, in accordance with relevant European legislation.
Any violation resulting in the impoundment of the rented vehicle will irrevocably result in the offending renter paying compensation to the rental company. This compensation is equal to
the full purchase price of the leased vehicle.
In the event of damage, the renter must report it to the landlord by phone within 24 hours so that the necessary measures can be taken before the renter’s return.
Fines incurred during the rental period are always the responsibility of the renter. PLEASE NOTE: The renter is personally responsible for any exceeding of the MTM, as well as for any fines or consequences.

The renter will pick up the vehicle in person with a valid driver's license and ID card.
6. ADDITIONAL COSTS
The renter must return the rented vehicle in the same condition as when it was picked up, that is, in a clean, proper, and complete condition.
Any existing defects and/or damage must be reported upon departure and recorded on a damage report form.

7. PAYMENT
The full rental fee and security deposit must be paid upon pickup of the vehicle. Any additional mileage or charges will be calculated and paid by the renter upon return of the

8. INSURANCE
The vehicle is insured through the insurance broker Q&O Horse Insurance, Westerlaan 1, B-8790 WAREGEM (www.qeno.be)

⎯ Comprehensive auto insurance
⎯ Unlimited coverage for recovery and towing after an accident, provided you use Renault Assistance (24/7) T. +32 800 15 051 (*)

9. CLAIMS PROCESSING / OBLIGATIONS IN THE EVENT OF AN ACCIDENT
In the event of an accident resulting in damage: submit the damage report to GP Renting BV within 3 days of the accident. This will allow GP Renting BV, in consultation with Q&O Horse Insurance, to engage an independent vehicle expert
order, with a view to prompt repair.
In the event of total or partial theft:
⎯ file a complaint with the police within 12 hours of the incident
⎯ Submit a claim to GP Renting BV within 12 hours of the theft or attempted theft
⎯ Return the original keys and other vehicle documents to GP Renting BV within 12 hours of the theft
In the event of a broken window: Notify GP Renting BV so that they can schedule an appointment with a repair shop approved by the insurer.

This agreement is governed by Belgian law. Any dispute arising from this agreement falls under the exclusive jurisdiction of the court in Mechelen.
